The Dr. B. K. Goyal Heart Foundation is dedicated to help prevent untimely death due to sudden cardiac arrest. Our Foundation conducts Hands CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) workshops to bring awareness and teach the general public the simple skills of Hands CPR.
Most people that experience a sudden cardiac arrest at home, work, or in a public location, die because they don’t receive immediate and effective Hands CPR from someone on the scene. Any person with training and experience of Hands CPR can save a life.
Hands CPR is an easy to learn life saving technique which gives a cardiac arrest patient an increased chance of survival till professional help reaches and in some cases, by itself, helps in reviving and stabilizing patients.
We conduct workshop covering the following topics:
The workshop's aim is to help everyone attending the session understand the technique of Hands CPR and the preliminary steps to be taken when a person suffers a cardiac arrest. The 45 minute workshop (followed by 15 minutes of Q&A) can be held at the premises of the establishment.
